Judy Nee Addresses the First Afterschool Summit in Cape Town, South Africa

Judy Nee, President of the National Afterschool Association in the US, whom we were unable to bring out as a speaker, was able to participate in a provincial gathering on the topic of afterschool programs by telephone, thanks to help from Frank Morta and Amy Bell-Mulaudzi. An image of Judy was displayed on the screen during the call, as you can see from the photo below.

The program took place outside the Consulate, which made the technical aspects of the linkup much more complicated that would have been the case if the program had taken place at the Consulate. Thanks again to Frank and Amy for making this happen, and thanks to Judy for being so generous with her time.
